Shelby Co., Tenn.


Founded in 1819, Shelby County currently has a population of 927,644. The 758 square mile county is the largest county in the state and is bounded by the Mississippi River on the west and Fayette and Tipton counties in Tennessee. Lee Harris is the current county mayor.
